Training Division – Continuing Education Center / Tikrit University
The Training Division is one of the most vital units within the Continuing Education Center, playing a key role in enhancing the capabilities of employees, students, and the local community through the design and implementation of specialized training programs that meet labor market demands and keep pace with scientific and technological developments.
Division Objectives:
- Enhancing the efficiency of administrative and technical staff at the university through modern training programs.
- Equipping participants with the practical skills necessary to improve their institutional performance.
- Serving the local community by organizing professional and technical courses for various groups.
Main Tasks:
- Preparing an annual training plan in coordination with the needs of the university’s departments.
- Implementing courses in management, computing, personal skills, institutional work, and human development.
- Managing the registration and documentation process for participants and issuing certificates upon successful course completion.
- Monitoring instructors’ performance reports and evaluating the quality of training.
- Coordinating with ministries and governmental bodies to organize joint development courses.
Notable Activities:
- Organizing specialized workshops in cooperation with the university’s colleges.
- Adopting electronic systems for registration and monitoring.
- Incorporating field-based practical training into some programs to enhance trainees’ efficiency.
The Training Division is committed to achieving the vision of the Continuing Education Center to serve as an academic hub for developing competencies and empowering individuals, thereby contributing to higher institutional performance and improving the university and community environment.
